HRSA Range will be closed on 1/21/2012 due to snow

HRSA Holiday Hours

So our members can enjoy Christmas and New Years with their Family HRSA range will have the following hours
Saturday 12/24/2011 Range will Close at 1PM
Sunday 12/25/2011 Range is CLOSED
Saturday 12/31/2011 Range will Close at 1PM
Sunday 1/1/2012 Range is CLOSED

Toys for Kids!

High Rock Shooting Assoc. working with the Naugatuck Fire Department will be collecting “Toys for Kids” on:

  • Saturday December 10, 2011 from 9AM to 4PM
  • Saturday December 17, 2011 from 9AM to 4PM

All members of the shooting public who bring an unwrapped toy priced at $5.00 or more will be able to shoot for FREE for the first hour.
We will also be accepting cash donations.
All Range Proceeds for both days will be donated to the “Toys for Kids” toy drive

Uncased Firearms Not Allowed Onto Range as of 7/1/2011

Due to a few incidents of people handling firearms in the picnic table area, beginning July 1, 2011 ALL FIREARMS brought in from the parking lot must be either CASED or HOLSTERED. You will not be permitted to bring UNCASED FIREARMS onto the range. For those of you who use carts to transport your firearms (e.g. Cowboy Shoots), as long as the firearm is SECURED onto the cart, you CAN bring these firearms onto the range.

A trip to High Rock Shooting Association

As I drove down the dim, wooded Black Forest Road, I noticed a sign that read, “Naugatuck State Forest.” This was the only item assuring me that I was actually still in the borough.
