Women On Target Shooting Clinic Raises $1800 to Support Susan G. Komen Foundation

Susan G. Komen PresentationThe National Rifle Association’s Women On Target program recently held an instructional shooting clinic for women only at the High Rock Shooting Range in Naugatuck, CT, sponsored by the High Rock Shooting Association.

All registration fees along with a matching donation from the High Rock Shooting Association were donated to the Connecticut Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. At their October meeting, members of the High Rock Shooting Association presented a check for $1800.00 to Anne Morris, Executive Director, Connecticut Affiliate Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Talla Mrazik, HRSA Clinic Director stated, “October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. With breast cancer striking 1 of 8 women, High Rock Shooting Association was pleased to make this donation in the fight to find a cure. We would like to thank all women who participated in our event and are planning another event for late spring 2011.”
