Range

About Us

The High Rock Shooting Association (HRSA) of Naugatuck, Connecticut, runs a pistol and rifle shooting range in the Naugatuck State Forest on weekends, commonly known as the High Rock Range. This is an outdoor range up to 100 yards long with covered shooting ports.

It’s a range run by sportspeople, for sportspeople.

High Rock Range welcomes guests of all levels of experience and accomplishment. We foster a safe environment where shooters can develop and improve their skills. We seek to build a supportive shooting community to promote safety, to exercise our 2nd Amendment rights, and to have some fun.

For much of the year, we are typically open to the public Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and on Sundays, Noon to 5pm. Special events—such as Cowboy Shoots and Women on Target—may affect that schedule. In the late Fall and Winter months, our schedule also adjusts to the earlier sunsets. To keep you informed, our social media pages post weekly with up-to-date scheduling information. Likewise, any changes in schedule due to weather or other unforeseen events will be posted to the social media.
